We are thrilled that family and friends are able to come from around the country and world to celebrate our love!
In order to feel prepared for the journey, please book accommodations as soon as possible - this is a tourist area and accommodations are limited in the Soda Springs, Serene Lakes, and Lake Tahoe area.
Reno, NV → nearest airport to the wedding venue and is located about 1 hour away.
Sacramento, CA → airport is located about 1 hour 45 minutes away.
The closest lodging option to the venue is to rent an Airbnb/VRBO or other rental in nearby Serene Lakes or Soda Springs.
We recommend you book accommodations as soon as possible to ensure you can find the rental that works for you.
There are several hotels in Truckee, but please note they are a 35-45 minute drive from Camp Wamp. Here are hotels to consider if you are unable to find an Airbnb or house rental in nearby Serene Lakes or Soda Springs:
For those who want to celebrate into the later hours of the night and are prepared for a louder environment, overnight camping is available at Camp Wamp.
The venue accommodates complimentary tent camping, car camping, smaller RVs, and vans.
Camping is available for adults only - please book alternate accommodations if you are bringing your children.
No reservation is required to camp.
As you approach Camp Wamp you will come to 2 entrances on the left. They will be signed and the gates will be open.
There will be tent camping available near the parking lot, so you can camp next to, near, or in your car. Please leave no trace! Pack it in, pack it out.
Here are several items to remember to bring:
Campers may begin setting up camp at 2 pm on Sunday afternoon and must be fully cleaned up and off the property by 10 am on Monday.
When arriving to set up camp, please stay in the designated camping area, as vendors will be setting up in the ceremony and reception areas.
There are several potable water stations on the property. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Bathrooms are located on site.
Walk, shop, eat, and drink your way through historic downtown Truckee.
Spend a day visiting gorgeous Lake Tahoe. Good beach options include Sugar Pine State Park (easy access), Moon Dune Beach (moderate access).

There are no reservations needed to camp on-site. The venue can accomidate tent and car camping, as well as smaller RVs and vans.

Camp Wamp is located about 15 minutes down a bumpy dirt road outside of Soda Springs, CA. However, a 2WD sedan will make it. Please do not drive any larger trailers or bus-sized vehicles (or contact the bride and groom first to confirm).
August in North Lake Tahoe is typically in the 80’s, but can vary. Please check the weather the week of the event to be prepared and bring layers just in case.

If you are camping, you can set up camp at 2 pm and factor in time to get ready for the ceremony.
Camping is available for adults only. If you are bringing children, please book your Airbnb or hotel ASAP.
Unfortunately, there are not many Ubers in the Tahoe area, and the road to the venue is not equipped for shuttle transport. Please designate a sober driver to safely take you to and from your lodging.
Yes! Please do not arrive in the parking lot with smelly items or food in your car. If you bring snacks, make sure they are not left in the car.
